Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 3 in E flat major, Op. 12, Adagio con molt’espressione

More evidence of the “magic spells” Beethoven can weave!
Is someone in the Drawing Room having a nice cup of tea, watching the sunset over the trees?

The violinist has a rather “hard” sound IMO. Shorter and quicker vibrato would be nice. And seems to play without much enthusiasm, like as doing the contract and going home. He/she don’t “feel” the work.

Hi, Bubba. Just wanted you to know I visited! Also, the CD you sent me was Dutilleux, Cello Concerto, The Shadows of Time, and Metaboles. Did you like him? Maybe you have to “see” the instruments and hear the affect to get him?
Enjoy listening to all the good stuff here! I still listen to the CDs you made me. I need to make the playlist so I can read it in the car and know what’s playing.
Love you,
Sis

It is indeed a relaxing piece just the thing to listen to before retiring for the evening, thanks Jim
