Tickle Giggle
Posted on January 12th, 2008 and filed in Liszt, Piano, Tickle GiggleYou have to smile, titter, giggle or laugh out loud; as you try to follow wherever the hell Liszt is leading us to with this piece! An auditory tickling. Absolutely extraordinary. (see My Comment #2 )

How could I stoop so low as to leave a Comment on my own Blog!
I can’t help it. I just have to say that only a musical genius could write something like this. I love Liszt.
But only when he’s being Angelic. Not Develic!

This is one of my favorite Liszt pieces. Truly difficult to play, and even more difficult to play with the right feeling. I can see how Czerny’s exercises influenced Liszt. I can remember my forearms and wrists burning and throbbing after some of those exercises!
